The rough-in valve body of the faucet is made from a solid "low-lead"brass forging encased in a plastic plaster guard housing with leveling bubble. Installation is a breeze. Simply mount the valve assembly using the four heavy duty mounting brackets provided on each corner of the valve housing. Set your depth to the mark provided while using the 360 degree leveling bubble to ensure a level setting in each direction. The hot/cold water connections are 3/4 inch IPS female thread. Brass adapters are included if you need a male thread. Once your tile, marble or other wall finish surface is ready, remove the temporary plaster guard cover to install plate, spout and handle. Spout reach is 7 inches. The wall plate is made from solid 1/8 inch thick brass and plated in a durable bright polished chrome finish.
